    I completely agree with you.

I honestly think Marquez will give Pacquiao hell.

However he is the only fighter out there who deserves a shot at Pac and he is a "blemish" in Pac's legacy.

As risky a fight it is, Pac needs to settle the score.

Matter of fact, I wouldn't mind Pac not fghting Floyd but it kinda leaves me a bothering feeling if Pac retires without fighting Marquez the last time.

Marquez wants it badly than Pac. He even went to the Phillipines to have a rematch. A winner btw does not ask for a rematch. Btw, this is the deciding factor why Pac won the 2nd fight:

after seeing floyd dismantle jmm, there is no call for a third match between him and pac. it would be as competitive as the third between him and morales.

pac needs to fight someone half decent in his next fight.

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight. Pac will pretty much have his way with Marquez and shut him up finally. I had Pacquiao winning the first 2 fights by a razor thin margin, but this would put Marquez in his place once and for all.

As for the weight, both guys are the same height so I don't think it matters what weight they fight at. That being said, obviously Pac will have the advantage at 147, but Marquez has done nothing to deserve special treatment and he should move up if he really wants his revenge. It should be no problem for him and the weight definitely is not a legit excuse for losing.

Understandable. It looks like 144-145 is Pac optimal weight, where he is as strong as he can be, not having to cut at all, without losing any speed or mobility.

He doesn't have to give anything up to Marquez, who's been nothing short of a ***** about the his draw and loss to Pac. Marquez is the one chasing Pac. If he thinks he can beat the best Pac, he will step and take the fight no excuses like he did with Mayweather.

It will be interesting to see how monstrous Pac will look at that weight against a fighter his size for a change.

Even at 140, Pac will still annihilate JMM. At 135, Pac will be drained.

So there's no fair weight limit for this fight.

Marquez should demand a catch-weight. Or better yet, Marquez should demand OLDT at 147 but no OLDT at 140.

Pac has ALWAYS had a physical advantage over JMM. It would be more interesting to see if his skill level and IQ have improved to the level of JMM's, at this point. I don't think so, personally. But, they have improved to some degree.

Having the fight at 147, only benefits Pac, of course...making that physical advantage, even more pronounced. You really can't expect less from Roach, at this point. His M.O. all day, every day is to give Pac every advantage possible.

I think Pac might KO JMM, this time. As tough as JMM is, and even with all his heart, he may have slipped too much to overcome Manny's sheer physicality, this time. Not to mention, he would be even more diminished moving up to WW. Pac can carry 147 much better.

But, if it were somehow to go the whole 12, JMM may just give Manny a boxing lesson.

*******s better be furious about this. They snapped when Mayweather fought Marquez after coming off a nearly 2 year layoff at 147. Pac right now in his absolute prime should fight Marquez nowhere above 140 considering he doesn't even come in at 147 on fight night for welterweight fights....there's absolutely no reason for them to fight at 147, pac can easily make 140 and they were all about dropping back to 140 until they realized they have an advantage fighting Marquez at 147 making him gain weight and be slower. That's a ***** move and another shameful shot at increasing legacy by weakening opponents.

This should be at 135, but realistically no higher than 140. Anything higher and it is a garbage fight.

Alas, you know that they aren't, and they will not be. By the time the hype-train is done, Marquez at 147 will be top 20 ATG and stronger than Tyson. :rofl

The fight will be as meaningless at 147 as when floyd fought him. Would be more meaningless had floyd made the contracted weight. It's a bullcrap fight. One I would not watch, and i never miss a pacquiao fight.
