MANILA, Philippines - All Floyd Mayweather Jr. has to do is get past Victor Ortiz in September, and the biggest fight in boxing history can still happen.

Manny Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, said they have not lost interest in a showdown between two of the sport’s biggest stars.

“We want that fight (Pacquiao-Mayweather) badly. We agreed to everything he asked for the last time... and nothing happened. Is it just talk or is it action?” Roach said in a report on ***********.com.

Roach, of course, was referring to Mayweather’s demand for the implementation of random blood testing in the weeks leading to the fight, something that played a major role in the collapse of previous negotiations.

Now the multi-titled trainer has put it on record that they have agreed to Mayweather’s demand for the tests.

The Grand Rapids, Michigan-born fighter is ending his more than two-year hiatus on Sept. 17 against Ortiz – a left-hander like Pacquiao. Boxing observers believe Mayweather is using the Ortiz bout as a prelude to a highly anticipated clash with the Filipino icon.

“He is fighting Victor Ortiz and he’s a southpaw. He has to beat Ortiz first and that’s not going to be an easy task. Last time, we agreed to everything he asked,” Roach said.

Pacquiao is booked to face Juan Manuel Marquez for the third time in November, after which a Mayweather fight may be right around the corner.

“On my side and on Manny’s side, we want that fight a hundred percent. We’re gonna fight Marquez in November and if Mayweather wants to fight the next day, we’ll be ready,” the bespectacled trainer added.

 but I bet the Pac boys come in and go back on what they were saying about Roach not having **** to do with negotiations or knowing what's going on in them.

Yeah, he's had 3 years to pump himself full of roids, get some balls to take a test and let Floyd clean out his division.

    Finally, he's ready.

roach has always said they agreed to everything...even when everyone else were saying otherwise....this camp is about on the same page with each other as a deaf man navigating a blind man through a maze.

    the fukk you talkin about?

i told you what happened both times...

how is that your thick skull can not comprehend why the fight has not happen when both teams have stated they weren't on the same page for testing.

Greenburg said he doesnt know why...well obviously testing was an issue as it still is...maybe Green thought it was a good deal the 14 days.....but Floyd didnt...fight didnt happen.

Again waht dont you fukkin understand about the fight not happening....you keep posting that as if it means something...Green thought it was a good deal the 14 day window..Floyd didnt...thats all it means.

At the end of the day...TESTING is or was the issue....i'm not sure how you dont comprehend this.

*****s still hanging on to their "take the test" excuse huh... well according to conte (who is their basis for such argument), floyds demand is useless. osdt should be 24/7, 365 days a year. if pac really was on peds, he could easily juice up in the off season instead. so why is floyd so anal about 2 weeks of cutoff?
