I have a lot of respect for roach but does he really believe this. Floyds defense is the best in the game and when he does get hit he takes it well. And did he say mannys pressure will break him down. 40 opponents put pressure on floyd and they all came up short.

personally I like both fighters for different reasons. Pacquiao always puts on a good show and is a great person out of the ring. I like Mayweather because he is a great ring technician who seems to have no flaws in terms of his boxing ability. I believe Pacquiao has the power to knock out Mayweather but theres no way Floyd will knock Pacquiao out. With this being said however, I personally cannot see how Pacquiao will win this one. Its not that Floyd is superior to Pacquiao as a fighter, but he is the better boxer and the style to which he fights will be a nightmare for pacquiao. Mayweather will be put under immense pressure but won't crack, he is too smart and will keep outboxing manny. I can see Pacquiao getting very frustrated in there because of Mayweathers dirty tactics on the inside. people dont notice this but Mayweather is a very rough fighter on the inside, he always sticks his elbows on people throats to back them up. He did it to Hatton and will do it again. Manny's only chance is to outwork Floyd with activity and make Mayweather go on the defensive for most of the fight. Most of the stylistic advantages are Floyd's though. This fight won't be a classic either, I can see it being very controversial with the judging.

We are going to see if Floyd can handle 12 rounds of constant pressure. Most fighters will eventually break down, but will Floyd?

The difference is Floyd came in the ring so much heavier than JMM, that his punches should feel alot heavier than Pacmans at SF. Also JMM obviously being heavier, thus slower, Floyd should really have put him away. When JMM fought Pac, it was a whole different matchup.

Agreed. Let's put it this way if it was JMM at 144 vs PAC at 146, there is a high probability that JMM will get KO'ed.

Nobody has put JMM down for the 10 count. If Floyd couldn't do it, and Pac couldn't do it at their best weights, then what is anyone saying lol...!!!???

You bring up some very good points.

Pac is not gonna be standing there with his chin out like some think. If there's a way for Floyd to pull it off he's gonna have to go to war. Floyd has been accurate against stationary targets and usually becomes better down the stretch when his opponent tires or fades.

Pac is in control of his mind and body, meaning he will be able to fight in round 12 like it was round 1. If you remember the 1st Morales fight where Pac was down a few points in the fight and suffering a bad cut, he came on strong late. He was taking a beating, but when given opportunity he jumped all over it.

His skill has grown immensely since then , but his heart and stamina have remained the same. Some guys just won't accept that Pac will be the best fighter Floyd has faced. The man has struggled against far more inferior fighters than little Pac, while different stylistically Pac brings all the goods.

And there's another interview where he says their training camp will be based on outpointing and winning a decision. I'd rather believe that.

im sure they are training to win a 12rd fight but are fully aware that pac will get his oportunities to end it early. i do think that pac can stop floyd and its been a long time sinse roach has been wrong about pac and his opponents.

I think Pacquiao's gonna try and get into a rhythm early, then start mixing it up with feints to set up a knockout punch. It's probably the only way he could knock out Mayweather.

its because you dont know how to comprehend things..What roach is trying to say is that pac wont be afraid to face mayweather because he has the chin and in that way he can engage in a close distance with mayweather without hurting himself and so he can hit mayweather..do you know logic boy??
