    He sounds very firm about 142 lbs being the catchweight, I doubt Mayweather will take it, Mosely cant make it, but does anyone think Cotto will attempt it just for the payday?

    Cotto and Shane cant make that. Roach said shane told him personally he cant make that. 43-44 is good but i only think Floyd can make that and be effective. Cotto comes down to 42 and he gets stopped badly.

    they both can make 140..they're both undefeated. Do the math ******.

    Let the welters FIGHT the welters. That's why they got a weight class for that reason.

    Freddie needs to STFU. If he wants Manny to fight the best welterweights in the world then they need to move up to that weight. Shane hasn't fought below 147 in a decade and Cotto was killing himself to get to 140 a couple years ago.

    why would he insist on fighting a welter at a catchweight?
    if manny fights a welter, make it for a belt. if not, stay at
    140 and clean that division out.

    He only got two fights left! HE looking for career building fights. What the hell would he gain from beating bradley or valero. If somewhow he lost he rep would be damage greatly. Never gonna happen!

    This might be Roach's way of saying no way in hell willl he put Pac in there with a legit WW.

    He was willing to let Manny come up higher for the DLH fight, if that doesn't tell you how bad he knew DLH was nothing will:deal

    Team Pacquiao calls the shots, these Welters are the ones calling out Pacman. Atleast Freddy is letting them know what they have to do to get in the ring with Pacman. If they dont like it fine let them fight someone else, Pacman can make big money fighting other guys.

    LOL this is Roach trying to ensure a Manny victory over a weight drained fighter. What a joke. They fought DLH at 147 why not PBF, Cotto, or Mosley?

    Because DLH was a handpicked fight.

    This is a damn joke and a farce. At least have the balls to fight at 145.

    Agreed. What Freddy is really saying is that he doesn't want Manny to fight one of the top Welters unless they will boil down. He knows neither one is stupid enough to do that harm to themselves with ridiculous stipulations of 142. They will wait for a Mayweather fight.
