Roach is doing the right thing imo. Everyone knows that Pac doesn't belong in welter - he's simply too small. Why put Pac in a disadvantage and climb to 147 when it's them who's chasing after him.

lol, it really is hard to believe that so called boxing fans would critisize pacs camp for not wanting to put him in against the best 147lb fighters. i guess he should keep going up untill someone cripples him. not only is he the top draw so he should dictate the terms but he has allready beaten fighters no one even thought he could do (except for pacdbest of course). cut the king some slack. hes allready given you more than you ingrates deserve.

 

would a catch weight fight be sanctioned by the abc's so
he could fight for a belt? if not, i say no and pac should
end his career in 140. the guys at lww with the exception
of bradley dwarf pac. what more at 147?

He should fight Valero. A win over Cotto would be downgraded due to the catchweight (Cotto is big for 147 nowadays)

Valero would keep Pac busy, then a fight with Floyd at 143-144 (Manny looked great at 147 anyways, albeit against a corpse)

Freddie will say 142 so that they could finally settle at around 144-145 lbs with Cotto... It's called setting up negociations to your advantage !

 

If Manny really only wants 2 more fights in his career, then I would rather see him vs Cotto & Mayweather or Marquez.

I think you're putting the cart before the horse here, friend. Manny isn't asking for fights with top Welters and demanding they boil down... all the top Welters are asking for fights with HIM. Suddenly Pac is swamped with offers from all directions ... so if they're coming to HIM they need to take the steps to get there.
