Lets take a look at the road taken to the super 6 final....was it fair?

Andre Wards path to the final

    Mikkel Kessler in the USA

    Allan Green in the USA

3rd fight pass - got given free points

    Arthur Abraham in the USA

    Final in the USA

Carl Froch's path to the final

    Andre Dirrell in England

    Mikkel Kessler in Denmark

    Arthur Abraham in Finland

Glen Johnson in the USA (didnt get a free pass like Ward did, not sure why)

    Final in the USA

Froch route is way tougher, to me it seems ward route has been easy because showtime wants to create the new american champion with thios tournament, froch needs a ko.

The super sucks failed on so many levels. Yes we had epic fights but these fights would have happened anyway. Plus, Froch Ward is in USA, Froch is getting ***raped.

Maybe SkySports should pay to have a tournament?

Also, good to get in the crying and excuses now.

The draw was fair but the circumstances ended up suiting ward. He got a bye once and got underachiever allen green, while Froch got Dirrell, Kessler and Johnson.

Showtime clearly favors Ward though, with the hometown fights and absurd commentary.

"I love Andre Ward!" as he bounces elbows off Bika's head. Same guy who screamed "THATS A FOUL, HE SHOULD BE DISQUALIFIED!!!!!!!!" when Abraham fouled Dirrell.

SOB or Son Of Showtime had the easiest route.

Clearly the tournament was set up to favour Ward, but it actually gives Froch a chance to look better in the end.

Look at a freakin' map. California alone is larger than the UK. The US is larger than contenintal Europe.

I went to Ward/Abraham. It was over 500 miles away from Ward's hometown and the crowd was half Armenian.

The final is in Atlantic City. Over 3000 miles away from Oakland. If a Euro went 3000 miles he would be in Siberia or the US.

Sho set up the fights for primetime television audiences. Having a marquee American on at 3 in the morning makes no sense. I'm sure that if Sky Sports was the one paying for the tourney things would have been different.

Froch earned a helluva lot of fans because of his path. It wasn't as easy as Ward's, but Froch benefited more from it.

Fans, Fame, Exposure, Experience, all thanks to the path he was given.

Ward gained very few of those things.

Let's be honest, to become a star in this sport Froch was going to have to fight away from home, and Ward wasn't. Hopefully he'll flaten Ward in front of his yankee fans just to put the cherry on the cake.
