    Only dummies like Ward-Gatti, the favorites of non-boxing fans, stand toe to toe and take punishment.
    You European drunks call it running, but actual boxing fans call it using the ring. :yep

    Froach got a gift SD decision in Gifttingham, and that is why no serious boxer will go to fight there unless absolutely necessary by mandate.

    what does european have to do with it? do you think because a guy is european they will stick together? do you think i would ever choose a german or a fenchman over an aussie or a canadian? really? ****ing dumb ****...but then you are michiganwarrior and dumb **** is what you are known for.

    people seem to be going off subject....they claim froch was given a gift at home, but thats exactly the point, ward got the gift of fighting at home the entire tournament, no foreign hotels, foreign gym, foreign food and foreign travel...just home cooking the entire tournament. now i expect people to claim 'yeah but he won the fights easily'....but....he never had to travel and go through the whole drama of it

    Apparently the gift had the blessings of all involved, after all they did sign up. Maybe we saw a few minutes of disagreement on Fight Camp between the promoters, but at the end of the day, everyone came into agreement about the setup. The likely thought was that Ward and Dirrell would be fighting for 5th place when their fight was to come about.

    I've watched that fight 4 or 5 times and I still can't see how people think that was some dominant performance from Dirrell.

    Someone said Froch got humiliated there? Was it Froch diving to the floor everytime the fight heated up? Was it Froch who spent 2 minutes of every round clutching for dear life?

    No, rather it was Froch who took many stiff punches to the face, outboxed, and was backed to the ropes and actually hurt during the fight. :yep

    Dirrell boxed scared like had no heart at the beginning of the fight. The guy just doesn't have it in him.

    yea, ward was literally the biggest underdog in the entire tournament (just below dirrell)


    and the entire point of the tournament was to try to get american fans to care about the division, they were trying to make abraham/kessler mainstream more than anything else, thats why they wanted the final in the US

    so u legitimately belive showtime expected ward to destroy kessler (which was a big upset at the time) while dirrell would get a win over abraham (i think this was an even bigger upset at the time) and then decide to pull out of the tournament?
