I don't know. Usually there are performance clauses written into contracts like this. I can't imagine they would continue to agree to pay a fighter who was once a star the same amount after his star is tarnished or snuffed.

Would Brant being a better favourite over Fielding at 168? I think he might considering Rocky is seen as a Brit level SMW lucky to have dethroned a coddled paper champ.

He BARELY beat Rebrassé and was probably lucky to get the nod over Ryder. I've always liked Fielding but he's domestic-European level at best.

Clearly Brant is the better fighter, but Fielding is huge and can punch a bit.

Brant would have to be the favourite all things being considered. He seems to have a decent set of whiskers and Fielding is only dangerous for a few rounds. Brant would easily outwork him over 12 rounds.

I get the feeling that Brant might well be the Sadam Ali of the middleweight division.

I have to say Sadam was a legit champion he had a real belt. I don't think Brants toy belt stacks up.
Sadam was always going to get his ass beat because he was chinny and far too small for the weight.
Skills can only get you say far when you have to survive 12 rounds

Brant has shown to be a bit more durable, he's a very good sized middleweight and throws a ton of punches.
I don't think he is as easy of a nights work tbh. Also don't think the reward is as great beating him.
