Rob calloway while not hardly world class at heavy, has mixed well at
the heavy limit. He's lost against a and b fighters at the weight but beaten very handily journeyman type guys. At the 200 pound limit he'll
have been hit harder before, he'll have decent speed and while nothing special in skill set, decent fundamentals. Now with a guy like marshall kaufmann in his corner I feel like calloway can beat guys like arslan, hill
and maybe even bell or mormeck. And I hate to say it, but my money would be on him to defeat ding by UD.

He is pretty decent at cruiser, but he's aggressive and I'm the wrong guy for him.

ding would beat most heavies out there. id give him even money against ruslan, favoured against the level 2 guys like brock, and only at a disadvantage against klit and maybe peter. no way can any of the cruisers, including calloway, bell, mormeck, etc even have a chance with him.
take ding outta the picture, and calloway might have a decent shot at cruiser, better than he does at heavy anyways

Listen bud, I know your getting the honor of posting right after the man himself . But "beat most of the heavies out there"? You don't follow boxing much do ya? Owen beck has a victory over ding. At cruiser vadim tokarev has a victory over ding. Take ding out of the cruiserweight pic, and you still have the same cruiserweight pic.
    Capeche?
    He ain't that good!

C'mon man, You settin me up to get torn a new one on the boards.
After my next fight October 6th, it will be yet another world class name I will fight. I'm not allowed to say his name right now, but will be a huge win.

I appreciate the support greatly, but that was slightly over the top at this point, however I'm determined to prove otherwise.

Until then, I lose to everyone by KO1.

Actually you'd be missing a spot in ring magazine's top ten in the world, and a somewhat crowd pleasing fighter.:bbb

KO1??? lol. i dont understand why people think smaller weight classes cant hang with the big boys. didnt Valuev just outweigh by over 100 lbs, and got beaen soundly by chag? after your last 4 fights, seeing youve actually concentrated more on boxing, the only fighters i think that could beat you re klit and maybe peter. bell and mormeck might be able to hang with ya. but none of the other ham and eggers have much of a chance. i predicted on the old express ding undisputed champ by end of 2008 and im sticking by it.

That's what I really feel, I just can't say it. oops

They're are some posters here that know that I KO'ed or dropped some decent heavys in sparring(one shot). It was their fault.

id actually be interested to know whhat heavies youve floored in sparring. albeit sparring is different in the ring, you obviously have the power to do it to most men in the world. i used to like tossing out the bigger guys in the bar, and having to go them after work as oppossed to the little guys. so much more ya can do with slow, plodding guys. any idea where this october fight might be?

It's amazing how deep the cruiserweight division is these days. Once a ******* division for fat light heavy's and small heavyweights is now filled with 10-15 competent and viable guys that can make for great match-ups for years to come. I wish HBO would focus on this division. They could do themselves a huge service if they did. And I expect ESB's favorite poster, the Ding A Ling Man, to be at the top of the mountain when the smoke clears. :happy

temporary monarchy at best if it happens. Ding will eventually get the chance to beat him up too.

Calloway might have a shot against some of the lower-level cruisers. He could be a decent fringe contender at the weight. But like others have said, at age 38, his time is really running out to do much of anything at the world class level.

Oh, and I agree, Ding blows him out of there. Calloway can beat up on midwestern tomato cans, but he'd have trouble with a heavy puncher like Ding.
