Even though he's been in with 260 pound mccline and went 10? Granted, mccline is no puncher at heavy, but he's a 260 pound top 20 heavy today. Surely he hits as hard as Ding. Power won't be an issue to calloway at cruiser. Anyways, at 38 his days ARE numbered. He's a nice guy and a good pro, and i'd like to see him at least fight for a world title. He deserves it.
You know - I like Calloway myself. Actually conversed with him a bit at another forum. He seems like a nice guy - and at the midwest regional level he's what you might call a "big fish in a small pond." At HW he functioned as kind of a trial-horse or record padder for world class fighters, but I think he could do better at CW. Again, though, he better try to do something quick, because whatever ability he may or may not have is bound to decline soon, if it hasn't already.
