I think one Irish poster said some sort of offer was offered to Proska, but whatever

Well Andy has always said he would love to fight Macklin now could be his chance if he can get out of the fights he has lined up. Always thought this fight would be made but more so a big card over here in Dublin at the o2. Sadly I get the feeling we wont see Macklin v Lee this time around.

Gutted that this fight is off now! I was looking forward to this fight the most on the card. Hopefully Macklin will get a decent opponent in on short notice but I doubt it. I also doubt this fight will happen again personally, but can always hope.

Agreed this would have been a good one. Unfortunately I would imagine we aren't going to get a very good fight with whoever comes in last minute. Happy to eat my words on that one though.

I was having dinner with Brian Peters the night before the Thiam fight and he told me they had offered him the fight but his Team turned it down

I'd be inclined to believe Peters, it's not his style to lie about these things. While we're on the subject, who are all these posters who said Proska was offered millions to fight Lee? Or is this yet another bull**** statement from you?

No it's not the end of the story, like I said it's not Peters style to make up these things for the sake of it. Maybe Proska didn't want to admit turning down the fight with Lee. Anyway you still haven't told me who these posters are who claim Proska was offered millions to fight Lee...

What is Peters style? Or what would be the stand out characteristics?

He seems to be as honest and upfront as a promoter can be (unless you know something I don't that would suggest otherwise?). I haven't heard or seen anything from Peters that would suggest that he would make this up. Correct me if I'm wrong by all means.
