Rob vs Buncey, who was right?

Bunce has been great for this forum. He got me on Eastside by mentioning it on his shows. I enjoyed his input and the fact he's on here firing away. Buncey is an emotional guy, wears heart on sleeve. He may have said things you don't agree with but he's human. People make mistakes. This is getting silly. I don't care who's right and wrong. I couldn't give a **** about Haye/Klits and PBF/Pacman. I'm concentrating on the guys who love the sport and give us there blood sweat and tears. Haye's bled and sweated to provide us with some fantastic displays. He's taken big challenges before and i think or would like to think he'd do same again.

I see it from both sides. I'm fed up with these guys talking big and bold then allowing the table talk to stop the fights we won't. Yes we as fans deserve to see the big fights but we haven't subscribed to anything. Fact is this is modern boxing. Fighters talk big and rarely back the talk up. That's why we appreciate warriors of the like of Gatti,Katsidis,Barrera,Morales,Tapia and so and so forth.

Rob don't take this as a dig but if you do walk away from the sport over one fight then more fool you. This sport ain't about one fight or 4 guys. There's blokes pounding the roads while were in bed. Going to work then to gym because of there love for sport. You walk away from them as well. I agree with you on this but **** sake don't walk away from a sport that needs as many hardcore fans as it can get.

 

David Haye talks pure **** and it seems Bunce has gone from 50% to 75% bull****.

Boxing is dying on its arse because of this ****.

I blame the thread starter.

 

I'd love to see no more threads on Pac/PBF Haye/Klits. Until the fights are confirmed leave the GF to gossip and chat bollocks. I know we like to keep up to date with things but this bollocks has gone on to long and it's causing stupid arguments. Let's get back to Boxing and Banter.

 

This place is going to be a **** hole like the GF once Haye-Harrision gets signed.

I can see were your coming from, BUT people like myself are generally pissed off with how things are going currently with regards to Haye and other fights that would bring boxing back into the mainstream.

UFC is gaining more and more fans by the day mainly because they have largely entertaining fights were the best fight the best.(IM NOT A UFC FAN).
Yes dana white owns the whole thing and thus apparently pays peanuts BUT they still manage to attract big crowds and put on constant events between the top fighters in each division.

The way i see things at the moment with regards to the Haye situation as an example, are one of the main things most people currently hate about boxing.
Yes its a dangerous sport, lives can be changed however in the Haye situation the guy has millions in the bank and would be earning millions fighting WLAD but despite this he still decides by the looks of things to be fighting someone nobody gives a **** about who has been KO'd by journeyman and who gave up his euro belt because he was clearly afraid of being kod by dimitrenko!!

i can see why Rob is pissed off because like him i see it from his angle.
If someone comes out mouthing off, gaining cheap publicity and declaring there going to clean up the division and bring boxing back into the spotlight then i want him to back up his words!
Until then hes seen as a fraud and in my opinion and many other who have paid to see him fight, he deserves all the ridicule that comes his way.

Sorry for the rant but its getting to me now!
