As boxing fans, we love to go back in time and remember the many great champions of this sport. We know the business can be shady, but we still think certain fighters would've been good or dominated in their era.
So.... who are some boxers in history who were robbed from getting their BIG break, in terms of more fight oppurtunities and possibly becoming champion?

For example, Zahir Raheem got fights against Erik Morales and Acelino Freitas. Morales and Pac were planning on having a superfight after the Morales-Raheem fight. Raheem surprises the boxing public with an upset win against Morales. Manny's a DOG. Why not face Raheem next? I know it wouldn't have sold nearly as much, but it would've been a great oppurtunity for Raheem to prove his skills once again against a great fighter in Manny Pac.

I think that Jose Luis Ramirez title defense vs Pernell Sweet Pea Whittaker was just plain robbery, Sweet Pea was the slicker fighter. Also Edwin El Chapo Rosario vs Hector Macho Camacho on June 13 1986, Madison Square Garden. Camacho was hurt by Rosario, he ran to last the distance, to escape with the highly booed decision. Camacho was never the same after that bout

Jesse James Hughes. With his "I am determined to die honorably" fighting style, he was never going to last long, but wow, was he entertaining, and beat some pretty decent guys. His KO of Anthony Stephens is still one of the most thrilling bouts I've ever seen, and he also had a war with Adrian Stone, among others. He was never going to be great, let's get that straight, but he was on the verge of some really big fights when he just had to go and rob those drug dealers again, which was apparently a game of some kind with him, and he ended up face-down in a field or something for going to that well once too often.

I mean, robbing drug dealers for fun; who does that?
