Kiko Martinez was wronged by the UK judges and their ridiculous scorecards.

Then in the US, Rakhimov was robbed of a deserved win over an American boxer.

Which country has the worst record for home and/or corrupt officiating?

What in gods name are you talking about dude?

    1. Rakhimov wasn't robbed. Total bull****. I had it a draw, some guys had Rakhimov winning and some Diaz. It was razor close fight and the classic question of "Output vs. Accuracy". Rakhimov had the output, but missed a lot and was hit way too much and Diaz threw less but was way more accurate.

Stats confirming this. Diaz landed 31.5% of his punches (233/740) and Rakhimov 22.4% (213/951). If you like output and work rate you went with Rakhimov here and if you like accuracy you probably scored it for JoJo. Nevertheless it was a close fight that could have gone either way.

    2. Kiko wasn't robbed as well. The scorecards were ridiculous and criminal but in the end the fight guy won. I had it 115-113 Barrett.

Haven't seen the Martinez fight but Rakhimov himself was Okay with the decision against Diaz. Some people just love to whine.

Punch stats are just some person counting punches.

The person who was keeping track of the punch stats was as biased and/or dodgy as the judges.

    No.

“I did everything I was supposed to do,” said Shavkat Rakhimov. “Victory was on my side. I feel I won the fight."

Punch stats are just some person counting punches. Okay.

And Michael Benson is just some person tweeting out something.

Stop crying robbery after a close fight goes to the A-side. Yeah, the Kiko/Barrett scorecards were horrendous but it doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a robbery at all. Would you feel better if Barret would have won via Split decision and 115-113, 115-113, 112-116 scorecards?

    You live on Twitter, right?

As i said, the scorecards WERE disgusting. It was a razor close fight with Barrett finishing strong in the last 4 rounds but Kiko winning some rounds early. Doesn't change the fact that the right man won on MY scorecard and i don't even like that Barrett guy and i think he's a total fraud.

robberies happen worldwide in favor of local fighters/draws, its just global boxing corruption that has been normalized. in tis case barrett/martinez and diaz/rakhimov were razor thin and could have gone either way.

Diaz said the same thing. But they both looked more releived than upset when draw was announced.

This was another case of more output vs better work. Rakhimov might have been lucky with the draw. The fight looked like it might have been 7 to 5 diaz to me. Diaz had better work. Good fight for Rakhimov. He still only 26.

It was a close fight; I personally had Diaz ahead by one point. Rakhimov never even slightly hurt Diaz

The Martinez scoring was OUTRAGEOUS. Who the hell could watch that fight and determine that Kiko won only 2 rounds?
Hearne should demand that those two "judges" never been involved in a Matchroom fight again. I'm sure he paid them off, but
they didn't listen to him "Give Barrett the win but only by one round".

The Diaz decision wasn't out of order. It was a close fight, one round either way was cool and so was a draw.

To answer the question: The US has a worse record only because Canelo fights in the US.

    UK by far.
They will screw over any foreign fighter possible.
In the US, it's usually foreign fighters like Pac or Canelo that get the unjust decision, sometimes even GGG

Bad decisions are not exclusive to the US but NO city in the world compares to the corruption capitol of boxing, Las Vegas. Most corrupt city in all of sports. Makes sense. Gambling city, biggest fights are held in venues of casinos. Follow the stench, I mean the money.

This is getting so old. Everytime there's a remotely close match : "Robbery" "Corruption". It's so over the top at this point. It's become the boy who cried wolf. You know one day, they'll be a real wolf and you'll cry but no one will hear you.

Chill with the robbery claims - chill with the corruption claims. It is just the nature of human beings examining a round of boxing and deciding who won. We're never going to agree. People will never be satisfied, there will always be someone who thinks they scored it perfectly and everyone else has to be wrong. Share your scores, but chill with the exaggerated outrage every time there's a tight decision.
