I watched with the volume down without the biased Rosen and Mathews and thought Tim did enough. The 118-110 scores they touted were asinine.
So where the hell were you guys in the Versus card thread? There was a damn echo in there for like an hour after HairyHighlander helped with the RBR on Solomon-Robinson. :yep And yes, robbery fits here. Mike won at least 7 inflexible lock-down rounds. :nod
I thought Mike looked like crap for much of the first half of the fight. In the end, my card read 115-113 Arnaoutis, so it was closer than the commentators'. However, none of the rounds that went to Arnaoutis on my card were flexible. Of the five that went to Coleman, two (maybe even three) could easily be budged on.
oh really???? This year - Too many cancellations, Too many deaths and murders, Too many robberies!!!!!!!! WTF 2009????
I wanted to see Ray Robinson get his ass kicked, and he did lol. Aronoutus and Coleman are bums so I passed on that fight.
Again, sorry the sport is not of interest to you. Good luck with your search. 1st of all, Robinson was all class in defeat; hoisting Solomon up on his shoulders and congratulating the fellow prospect after having his own cherry popped. How can you hate on the kid? What, because his parents gave him a certain name when he was born, and he happened to also take up boxing? Real mature. As for Arnaoutis-Coleman, your loss. It started slow and ugly but progressed into a pretty entertaining melee. Ignorantly calling them bums doesn't exactly cast you in the light of a real boxing fan, not one of very high quality anyhow. Nobody's putting them on p4p lists; they're second-tier guys, fringe contenders, and this was a battle to inch beyond the fringe. If that type of thing doesn't interest you, and you only want to watch guys with household names, that's your prerogative...but you don't fit the definition of a true fan of the sport. There's a word for people like you. Rhymes with "Schmasual". :good
