As I have said in the past. If the fight is close, a lot of rounds could be scored either way, and you have a lot of people arguing over who REALLY won the fight, you can't have a "robbery". This isn't one of those times. Clear win. Hardly disputed. Clear robbery.
For all those who can't read, I don't believe Bradley deserved to win. PAC served the win, but it was not a blowout victory. Bradley won at least 3 rounds. 4 or 5 is not crazy. But he didn't win the fight. PAC shouldn't have let the close rounds happen. I'm sure he will fight harder next time, but that doesn't excuse his lack of focus in this fight. He left too many rounds in the balanc and paid the price. Not fair, but it was avoidable.
i think your all forgettin what happend in pac mans previous fight! he CLEARLY lost to marquez. karmas a *****
it was a highway ****ing robbery. timothy bradley's a good fighter, but he didnt have the punching power or boxing skills to beat manny pacquiao. ROBBERY. twist it how you want but what transpired on saturday night was just disgusting. pacquiao won at least ten rounds. stop playing the sucker.
Karma is a ***** but this isn't a case where that ***** has shown her face. JMM vs PAC 3 was a very close fight....but it was an "unpopular" verdict. Every round in that fight was close but there were some rounds where JMM clearly won....not a lot of rounds... a few. All the other rounds were rounds where you either liked the more accurate and efficient workrate or you like PAC's busy style. I had JMM up by 2 rounds... I thought it was a clear win but it wasn't a robbery like last weekend.
I am sorry mate but this was a complete robbery and no sane unbiased person could have had Bradley winning.
Right, but when the guy who you "hoped" would win, loses a close fight due to him not having the will and/or stamina to finish it, it can be dissappointing and lead to deflecting and whining.
Absolutely NOT a robbery. I can respect a 7-5 or maybe even an 8-4 scorecard in favor of Manny. These 11-1 scorecards are pure comedy. I had it a draw and I stand by it. Everyone is in disbelief that Bradley did so well on Saturday night.
Losing a "close" fight is one thing.....When the guy you "hoped" would win, dominates but is robbed, I think the reaction would be a little different. Like the PAC vs JMM fights.... all were close and competitive....fans were split on who they wanted to win...and when the outcomes were revealed we had a bunch of unhappy fans but it wasn't like what happened saturday....or in fights like LL vs Holy or JCC vs Whitaker. It's like comparing apples to oranges.
you either are trolling, didnt see the fight, or are biased. those are the only ways any boxing fan could have scored it a draw.
1, 2, 5, 7, 9, and 10 were all CLEAR rounds for PAC. 11 and 12....eh.... Gave Tim 11 but honestly didn't do **** in 12 but run and jab. PAC was pushing the fight...more aggressive...he couldn't make Tim fight. It was a foot race at the end of the fight where Tim was in survival mode....doing his best to use his feet and jab to keep distance and PAC was doing his best to close it.
10 was the clearest round for Bradley for the whole fight. I mean even Lederman's biased ass gave him that round as well. People are seeing what they want to see, I saw a draw. Just because Bradley isn't stupid like the last few Pacquaio opponents as in walking forward, doesn't mean was running away and Manny was not really ever closing the gap until the last few seconds and try to steal rounds. Manny had his arms up in his guard for virtually half the round in damn near every round. Bradley controlled distance by turning Pacquaio to his right and keeping the jab in front of him. This is by no means an admission that Bradley was dominating, because he wasn't, he was simply doing more in the rounds. If Pacquaio hadn't decided to take a vacation in the championship rounds, we wouldn't even be having this discussion but here we are.
Yeah, that's it. Rounds 1&2 Rounds 9-12 All for Bradley. Not trolling, saw the fight and that's how I scored it. Bradley's work gets overlooked because 1. He's Timothy Bradley 2. He has little power. His punches don't seem effective but they have decent pop. 3. He got dominated in rounds 3-8 so people dismiss rounds 9-12. :deal
