And this unfortunately is the poor side of boxing which prevents it from widening its audience. Favouritism might work well for the core boxing audience but it doesn't work with a wider more casual audience. You don't need to be a boxing genius to see when a fighter is robbed.

However, to be clear, this happens all over the world. Germany in the 2000's used to be especially notorious for this.

That decision was blatant robbery. Mattice got his ass kicked & he knew it. But what can the rightful winner do. Appeal the decision ?? To Whom?? The Iowa State Commission ?? ROFLMAO. The State Commissions are the root cause of the corruption today. There is NO ONE overseeing boxing. EVERYONE sees these blatant robberies
