    Fury vs McDermotte
    Lewis vs Holyfield

    Examples of Close Fights = Froch vs Dirrel
    Eubank vs Watson 1
    Williams vs Martinez

    To many people scream robbery straight away when often it's just a close fight.

    yeah. apparently boxing is swamped with robbers, rubber duckies, uni cyclists, and mainline druggies.

    It's definetly 'shot'. If any fighter loses he usually shot to ESB poster. I saw a thread once that was like is this fighter Pre prime, Prime, pre-shot, or shot? It's like wtf lol!

    True and if a fighter has ever touched the canvass even once during his entire career then his chin is suspect! lol

    You failed in your second sentence mate.

    McDermott vs Fury wasn't a robbery.

    Even McDermott after the fight said that he thought he 'nicked' it. My scorecard read 95-95, though a few rounds could have gone either way. It wasn't any worse than McD vs Williams I - which I scored for Williams, even with the 10-8 in the 5th (not sure whether it was a KD or just total domination) and three points deducted.

    I will actually concede there (shock).

    It was the only one that I was starting to regret putting in there.

    Actually it's a good example of my point because I was perhaps thinking of Terry O'connors riddiculous card!

    Having said that I've scored it several times and the closest I can get is two to McDermott.

    Terry O'Connor is just a joke official, totally agree there.

    If he had scored it by two to Fury there wouldn't have been an outcry..... but by six :-(

    From memory I gave him the first two, last two and one other, forgotten what it was though......

    I would have still thought it was skewed if they he had given it to Fury by 2. I think this fight sort of sits in the middle between close and robbery. It's slightly different anyway as it was just one twat scoring it.

    I was at the froch fight and he ref'd one. I boo'd him when his name was announced. Funnily enough later that night (early morning by the time they got the bloody fight on) I got into a lift with just Fury and his bird! lol
