I would have said Fury-McDermott was more of a close fight than a robbery

No. The most overused word in boxing is "EXPOSED", followed by "SHOT".

There have been more threads whining about overuse of the term "robbery" than threads claiming Williams/Martinez was a robbery.

    On ESB:

Robbery usually equals= when your favorite fighter loses a close decision or the fighter you despise wins a close decision

Did anybody not think that Paul Williams wasn't going to catch hell for his close decision victory over Martinez from the usual suspects ?? I saw the hate coming a mile away

I think "prime" is one of the most overused words in boxing. It is mostly used by boxing fans who are bitter about their idol's loss to a younger fighter. "If he was in his prime he would've kicked his ass!" Or they could use the word for making fantasy fights. Of course, the old school fighter always wins.
