I'm a Bellew fan but I thought it was a fair decision. Chilemba is just one of those fighters that is impossible to look good against, but he clearly upped his work-rate in the second half of the fight. Bellew probably felt he did win it on activity alone, but too many of his punches were missing or getting blocked, and Chilemba didn't do enough overall to get the nod imo.
It was a robbery alright, Chilemba clearly won that fight. Bellew was swinging like a caveman hitting air and gloves, Chilemba was landing flush counters all night
First half of the fight Chilemba did nothing. how can you score a fight 8-4 to him when first 5 rounds go to Bellew?
Chilemba definitely took rounds 4 and 5, landed all the meaningful shots, slipping Bellews wild punches and countering him beautifully. Can also make a strong case for him taking the 3rd
Rios v Abril was a robbery, this could have went either way,1 judge had chilemba by 4 rounds which was way off, and is what made the decision look silly.point either way in a cagey stand off is okay.I had Bellew by a point.all first 6 to him and then 1 other
