We've seen it before, where the favorite fights a guy and doesn't really take him seriously and or fights a guy with a style that's bad for him. I love boxing.

Let’s clap it up for the ref. Many probably would have stopped it in the fifth, especially after he went back into the ropes. But he clearly analyzed the situation instead of rushing to judgement. He needs to be elevated to bigger fights. Great job ref!
Hats off to Ramirez as well, class act. I look forward to the rematch.

True! The Ref allowed the fighters to decide the outcome.

Yeah. Celestino Caballero in second place was 5'11. The shortest ever champ was Benny Bass at 5'1

Refs in the UK watching this fight not understanding how Espinoza could possibly come back and win a decision after that knockdown, their minds are exploding.

Just one of those situations where a guy with a world level performance in him was fighting at the Mexican domestic level.

His last fight was at a ****ing restaurant. I Googled it and all their advertisements show a fried catepillar dish that they offer to curious tourists.

Can ESPN just grab the top mexicans at 126 and have Lara, Espinoza, Vargas, and Lopez and let's have a round robin between those 126 pounders over the next 18 months?
