Robert Byrd: Judges screwed up decision

Lol!! Well well well... I guess the majority of us that think Kovalev won aren't crazy after all it seems.

 

They didn't screw up. They had a way to score it for their countryman, and they did. It's not like it's incompetence.

I can score it as wide as 115-112 for Ward to 117-110 for Kova. Enough rounds that you can score for one of them if you want to.

But Byrd is right by saying the wrong guy got the decision. Like many feared beforehand if Kovalev didn't dominate.

 

Oh dear. Kov being up v a US ref can be removed from the list.

 

Kinda feel like these refs should not give an opinion on who they THINK won a fight. (Until they quit the game)

 

And yet ANOTHER name can be added to the "Kovalev won that fight" list Sergey won that fight.

 

I thought all the refs were in Wards pocket? I guess they're not crooked if they support your argument! Funny how that works!

 

He called it pretty straight. I buy his impartial credibility.

 

Lol I never claimed he was "In Wards Pocket" Although he could have done a better job with scolding Andre for being a f**king huggy bear. At least he is honest about the fight!!

 

His opinion is worth the same as yours or mine.

 

Robert is just another racist eastern european dude among others who think Kkkovalev won... His opinion means nothing.

 

I'm just recalling all the times the Ward haters have gotten it wrong! Ward would not take the fight, Ward would pull out of the fight, Ward was going to fight dirty, Ward was going to get knocked out cold! With all these things you guys have gotten wrong, do you think it's possible you got the outcome of the fight wrong as well. Think about it, if someone gave you wrong information on a given subject 3 or 4 times, would you be inclined to trust his word when he gives you information again on the same subject or any subject for that matter? Don't get me wrong, I initially gave Kov the fight but, after another watch I can see how Ward could have gotten the win but to come on here whining about the outcome is just funny as hell to me! All this big talk about how Kov was gonna do this and that but, now that your boy was dispatch you guys are all upset. LOL Please don't stop, this sh!t is funny as F#ck...especially when you take into consideration all the trash the Ward haters were talking!

 

"Your boy was DISPATCH" ?? LMAO!!! Did you really just say Ward "dispatched" Kovalev??? Lol!!!

 

I think it's easier to make an argument for Kovalev winning the bout, than Ward. Granted, you can make the argument Ward won the fight 114-113 as the scorecards suggested, but that means every close round went to Ward on your card. On the flip side, you can argue Kovalev won the fight by a couple rounds (and a knockdown).

Personally, there were many rounds where I thought to myself "wouldn't want to be a professional judge for that round, it was very close." The feeling was that Kovalev won the bout, and I'm a Ward guy. Although Kovalev clearly faded or went into cruise control in the 2nd half. Dangerous to do that when you're going to the cards.

Either way: before the fight finished I felt there needed to be a rematch. Great fight. Ward has zero excuses not to grant a rematch to Kovalev.

 

And as far as the "trash the Ward haters were talking" that sh*t is going to be worse after this robbery decision. Ward didn't silence anybody. Lol
