This would be a very interesting fight. Mikey's IQ against Robert's length, power and chin. Maybe the two years out hurt Mikey in that they were his years to shine and dominate. Then again, maybe this is his time, The competition is much stiffer and I think that Easter presents a problem that Mikey may not be ready for. Thoughts?
Mikey has the most fight experience but even he has never fought a guy that was nearly 6ft. It would be a tough fight for Garcia and Easter but it should happen. Maybe let Easter get in a few more rounds with some solid guys and the same for Mikey since he was out for nearly 2 years being a lawyer (see those jokes aren't just for Andre Ward ).
Mikey would dismantle Easter. But I'm very impressed by Easter and thought he fought an excellent and ballsy fight against Commey the other day.
I think Mikey G got this right now but let Easter jr enjoy himself a bit. he impressed me in that last rd. kid has some good potential
There's no doubt that Mikey has the IQ and experience but my concern is what you mentioned on the height. Mikey is only 5'6". Then again, Easter does give up his height and is susceptible to right hands. However he has an iron chin because Commey chin checked him with some righteous shots. However he does have a blistering offense and knockout power. Can Mikey handle the pressure? Maybe, maybe not. I would love to see.
That's a tough fight imo. But I'd rather Easter go after the WBO strap that Flanagan has. I think Easter dismantled Turbo Terry.
