I'm a Rios fan and picked him to stop Mike but he lost this fight fair and square. He needs to get back into the gym working some things and beat Mike's ass in the rematch.

I watch alot of bouts with no sound for this reason, only turning it up to see interview or hear decisions. Just listen to some tunes while watching bout, or if I didnt catch a call by ref, like Low Blow or something, pause it and replay it With the DVR

Garcia should blame himself for not teaching Rios better since the early days, he can't jab or box from the outside. If rios could move and jab he would be unbeatable with his chin and relentless , but you can't expect him to win just moving forward taking heads blows and waiting for the opponent to fade, at 135 that could work overwhelming the little guys but as he move up in weight things change.

Well they are biased... Has nothing to do with Rios losing though.

He's right about them being biased. The Pac/Bradley fight being the single greatest example.

Overall they were pretty good in the Rios/Alvarado fights. Both guys were given credit and Alvarado was the only one who made significant enough of an adjustment to warrant discussion.

I'm sure Robert won't mind their commentary on Sat night when the HBO team drools on Nonito's sac.

Did you always feel Larry Merchant was 'n HBO shill, or took no prisoners, no matter the consequences?

Relax. Either that or stop trolling. He's not trying to argue about who won that fight. All he said was HBO was biased. And that's a good assessment. They were terrible in that fight. Every time Pac threw a combo there was a loud celebration whereas when Bradley had his moments you could hear a pin drop.

Rios lost fair and the fight was called good which is odd for HBO.
