Garcia is never gonna help Rios if he keeps making excuses for him and not making him look at his flaws and fix them.

    Thank you !!

And honestly I thought HBO was dick riding Rios until Alvarado picked it up and it was evident he was kicking Rios' ass

didn't see it and there's more of a reason for hbo to favor rios.

Na it was a pro-Rios crowd and Rios is a Hbo darling. It's ok for Mikey to "run" against Salido, but not Alvarado? That's what in spanish we call "mamadas". So all of a sudden he brings this up? Why not in the first fight when Rios won? Just excuses.:-(

Its pretty upsetting to see Rios and Garcia react this way but it doesnt surprise me. Alvarado fought beautifully and Rios looked confused and gassed out in there.

HBO is biased some of the time(bang bang bang, etc), but they called the Rios fight fairly and have generally been pretty favorable to Rios in his previous fights. Also, Alvarado did not run, he boxed Rios and had him in bad shape for a decent portion of the 2nd half of their fight doing so, including the 12th round. The phone booth route didn't work for him in the first fight with Rios, so even though Alvarado still did some of that, he added more movement and some clinching so Rios couldn't get off at times while still throwing plenty of leather in the process. And the sad thing is that Alvarado is not a particularly good "boxer" he just did what he could within his limits and that was enough to get him the win because Rios couldn't adjust to the minimal boxing ability that was put on him. Primarily, Rios needs to add more head movement to avoid taking fire coming in, use his jab more to get inside, and learn how to better cut off the ring before their third encounter.

Furthermore, Seckbach is hilariously biased towards the Garcia team and Rios himself. Even beyond all the interviews he does, his early unofficial scoring of Rios vs Acosta was hilariously bad.
