    Thats the sad honest truth

Both are P4P but boxing politics get in the way...

    Sad

Uncle Bob gets in the way. He already blocked the fight by saying he'd only make one offer to Mikey, with no negotiating period. A shame, because Lomachenko is the type of talent that needs to be challenged, not protected.

I'm so confused by Mikey's persistence on Errol. I guess Errol is going be at his fight this weekend and it seems like they want to set a fight up in December. This makes no sense for Mikey to me, I mean I like the fight but Mikey to me virtually has no shot.

Mikey handled the Russian dude at 140, but you could tell it wasn't as easy for him at 140. 47 is pushing it for Mikey. I think he can do it but he has to be matched right and Errol isn't that match. Errol could damn near fight at middleweight.

I tell you Errol is probably doing a back flip. Mikey is saving Errol from fighting a lesser name next. Won't get Porter or Garcia before the end of the year. Thurman nope. Crawford isn't happening yet. No Pac man or Khan. Mikey is a safe fight and a nice payday in Texas and great resume name. No brainier for Errol before he gets unifications next year.

I understand Mikey and Arum don't get along. But if you are Mikey's team you have to angle for the Loma fight. They need each other. Get Loma and his team in a room minus Bob and hash it out. Mikey has a damn good chance to beat Loma and he will really explode after that. Then you can go after Errol. After you beat Loma the Spence fight would be icing on the cake if you beat him. Plus after you fight Loma on ESPN the Spence fight would do twice as much money in Dallas.

I don't know maybe I'm just bummed because I'd love to see undefeated Loma vs undefeated Mikey and thats less likely after Errol demolishes Mikey.

It’s simple.. compared to his other potential opponents Spence is the only one that would be easily as both share the same manager and network backing both guys big time

Arum is as much of a snake as any other promoter but when has he protected his fighters in the past? It's much more likely that Mikeys giant ego won't allow him to settle his differences with Arum.

Arum said he would give Mikey one offer, no negotiations. It’s Arums fault we will never get Mikey vs Loma just like it’s fault we didn’t get Pac-Man vs Floyd for so long. We will never get Loma vs Mikey I’d bet my life on it

Bet you if Mikey looks crap vs Easter, Arum will make it happen.
Arum clearly holds a personal grudge against Mikey, and Mikey is a good fighter.
High risk, high reward and a personal grudge. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It doesn’t matter how Mikey looks we will not get it. I mean come on Pacquaio was his man his good friend and he shits all over him about his taxes currently and doesn’t want him to do well now that he’s on his own. Todd would make the fight in good faith Arum will not

I am talking about risk and reward. Mikey is high risk and high reward, so it´s a good fight to make. And yes, Arum does make those type of fights. But would Arum take the risk if he has a personal grudge against Mikey?
Arum ****ed over Rigondeaux. He also punished Gamboa and Donaire.

And Arum is now shitting on Manny because Manny left him. Manny is a free agent.

But the good thing is that Top Rank has worked with Al Haymon and his people before. I still have my hopes up.

Everyone has been pointing out and predicting this since before "Lomo vs. Mikey" ever even became a thing.

Good post though I'd favor Lomachenko a little. Errol Spence is just too big and strong and fast and relentless and utterly without pity and Mikey isn't a better enough boxer to overcome. He'll get the **** kicked out of him.
    I don't get it either.
