This is what happens if he thought so highly of his fighter slow poke Margarito. After pacquiao beats the slowpoke to the pulp, suddenly his trainer joins the Pacwagon and now thinks pacquiao can beat Mayweather? :huh

A note for Robert Garcia: Floyd Mayweather will make Antonio Margarito look worse than Pacquiao made him if ever they met. His footwork (Tony's) is an insult to boxing that Floyd will run circles pot-shotting him and maybe stopping him in the eleventh or twelfth. :hi: Trainers like these should learn from an Academy or something so they can truly impart basic boxing theory.

Highly doubt Mayweather would stop Marg. Only thing he'd do is take fewer punches than Pac but it's hard to get one over on Pac in this fight, as it's nigh on impossible to beat a 120-108 UD (as Pac got) without any KD's.

I don't consider myself a ******* in saying this, but if Pac can't stop him, Mayweather sure as hell can't.

Floyd had his chance to demolish Margarito years ago, when it would have been potentially interesting. In fact, Margarito asked Floyd to his face, 'why won't you fight me"? Instead, Floyd fought semi-retired DeLaHoya instead.
It's interesting that Floyd seems to have had less confidence in beating Margarito than some of his fans do.

Very good point! Floyd nuthuggers fail to realize that their hypethetical Floyd fights never happened! It's easy to say Floyd would KO Margo, cause he never fought him! At least Pac did. Not saying it was the best opponent in the world for him, just saying at least Pac did, Floyd never did...

Looks like he will be wrong twice. First he thought that Margarito would beat Pacman and he was wrong. Now he thinks that Pacman will decision Mayweather. If Pac is going to win against Mayweather, it will be by a knockout. I think if Mayweather and Pacman do end up fighting, it will be Mayweather who gets the decision.

Floyd offered Arum/Margarito a fight for April 2006 but they turned it down because they were facing Manuel Gomez in February

Mayweather turned down Arums 3fight offer for 21million for Margarito/Cotto/Hatton and made more in 1 fight against Delahoya :thumbsup

Are you ******ed? Mayweather can't even KO or even KD an overtrained Mosley and you expect Mayweather to beat Margarito worse than Pacquiao did to him? :nut

There is no fighter in this generation that could beat floyd by decision, if it goes all 12 rounds, it would be because mayweather dominated

looking at the comments i see that alot of people aren't thinking rationally...at the time DLH was seen as a much bigger challenge than Marg, and in the wake of the zab upset MAYWEATHER OFFERED MARGARITO A FIGHT AND MARGARITO DECLINED...fighters call out other fighters everyday, people calling out Pac left and right, but its not the same backlash when he doesnt act on it. So I hope people hold on to the dream that a slow, plodding, punching bag like Margarito ever had a shot against floyd...cuz its a fantasy
