Robert Garcia Rips Freddie Roach Over Donaire Attack

I think Nonito's management team has had issues with Pac, in the past.

 

Roach wanted to train Nonito after he spilt with his father but Nonito declined because he felt if he did so he would be shadowing Pacquiao's legacy instead of making one of his own.

 

Nonito had issues with Pac on the business side of things, too, am I right? He, or his management, were never happy that Pac was hogging the Filipino limelight, or something along the lines.

 

It must stem back when Fili Flash believed Marquez won the 2nd fight against pacman on the Filipino network.

 

Donaire wanted to fight on Pac's undercards to get exposure but Pac's team felt that there was no benefit since Pac already brought in the Filipino crowd and that Donaire was managed/promoted by others.

 

Doubt it would be from that.

I'm pretty sure it's about Donaire not being able to use Manny's name to propel himself.

 

I'm not sure if there is beef there or not. But my interpretation of the article didn't really see Roach attacking Nonito, but more or less criticizing his trainer for not developing more then the left hook. By saying he used the same punch in his last four fights, he is saying something to the effect of "hey garcia, give your boy more in his bag of tricks."

I can remember Rachel Donaire being involved in it, too. Silly woman.

 

Donaire and Pacquiao are friends. Rumor is Koncz wants guys down with Mannys Pacquiao promotions. If you're not signed, you won't fight on his undercard. There is no jealousy or anything remotely close to that. Quit conning. Donaire loves Pacquiao.

 

That **** that happened before the Montiel fight is false according to Donaire. They are on two different career paths. Donaire wants to carve his own path plain and simple. He's said this.

 

Garcia is a helluva trainer, and deserves respect. Roach has Manny and Khan, Garcia has Rios, Donaire, and Garcia...Donaire and Rios are established current unbeaten champions and Garcia appears to be on his way, I would say Garcia is doing just fine for himself. Not to mention, Garcia appears to be a very decent and respectful man, Freddie is allowing the butthurt to get the best of him.
