Hopefully they take a more aggressive approach. Joshua could stop him, imo. It’s not like a physical mismatch.

Robert won't help him when Usyk lands and AJ will have a heart attack.

I don't think it's the problem of the bad gameplan, it's just different ring IQ.

AJ has a punchers chance, as always. that's it.

Maybe Usyk is too worried about his country and won't show up 100%. Who knows...

I disagree with the "more aggressive approach" thing. To me, that is just going to make it easier for Usyk for crack him with that straight left that shook AJ to his ankles, and it isn't even the Ukranian's best punch.

He needs to learn to fight as southpaw, and, realistically, he is not going to do that in a couple of months.

Robert Garcia going to fix his chin, poor feet and bad stamina? Nope. AJ is going to get himself KO'd.

He's never been a good inside fighter, Usyk was hustling him there. He doesn't know how to roughhouse.

You will always just end up chasing Usyk - Even Fury would run into this issue for a large portion of the bout

Usyk was on his feet like a crackhead on speed for the first 4 rounds, AJ will not be able to touch him. Usyk slowed down when he realized he could save energy and that AJ was useless.

He can’t outbox Usyk, so he needs to sit down on his shots to maximize the impact. He did land some clean punches the first time, too, but since Ruiz he has not been committing to his power the way he did in the past.

I agree with most that Usyk is much more likely to knock him out this way, but at least Joshua gives himself a chance.

He needs to learn to cut off the ring first.

This is a strange pick, since training a heavyweight is a different ballgame to training lightweights and welterweights. In AJs mind this should be too big of a risk. Especially since the rematch is in 2 or 3 months. but it doesn't matter because Joshua can't beat Usyk under any trainer. The gap in IQ and Ability is to large. He does have a punchers chance but thats it

I think it's probably better than Rob McCracken though. Garcia did train Maidana for the Mayweather and Broner fights and Maidana used intelligent pressure and rough housing tactics, which is something Joshua would need to do against Usyk. But thats just one fighter.

Regardless Usyk will beat him again and will run Fury out of the division for good

This is an inspired choice which means AJ is going to give Usyk a proper seeing to MExican style. Robert Garcia is one of the best offensive trainers in the world.

Mikey was a fat former lightweight fighting 2 divisions up and not a hulking 6'6, 240 lb heavyweight, bigger than the average heavyweight.

That said, it's too late for Joshua to change his style.
