Yeah, And ge won't fade down the stretch either. So the opponent has to be better throughout the fight or get a gift decision. Usyk's only weakness is that he isn't a real KO fighter, not even at CW, and when you leave it in the hands of the judges you always take a risk.
The two differences that stands out to me between Usyk and AJ is stamina, of curse, and also that Usyk is a natural, the moves come instinctively to him while AJ has to will them much more. Fury is also a natural, but less agile than Usyk and doesn't have as good fundamentals, which you would expect given the big difference in size. That's why the showdown between them will be so interesting. Two naturals, with very high ring iq and true champion's mentality, with one of them having the advantage in technique, speed and output and the other in size and strength. Since neither is a big puncher and both are very hard to stop, I don't think it will be decided by a single moment but rather who gets the mastery throughout the fight.
Roberto is totally right. He just has no heart and no mental strength. That's all. And a very limited IQ too. He's a freak, a giant with very good coordination for his size. But that's not enough. Usyk on the other hand has everything. This figther is amazing. Heart, mental strengh, very high IQ, will for victory, impecable boxing skills, impecable sense of space, ridiculous stamina... It's impossible not to like his boxing. AJ can always look for some 17 years old guys and bully them again, to redeem his self-steem, though.
Yeah it was the 10th Usyk has fought all these savage punchers and legit bangers in his last 11 fights and not once did he hit the canvas AJ x 2 Gassiev Briedis Chisora Bellew Glowacki Huck Hunter And even Witherspoon can bang. He'd stopped 14 of his 15 victims going into their fight And look at the amount of punchers he fought in the WSB/amateurs who couldn't stop him Been telling folk for years he's not only super talented and skillful but he's tough as nails too. He smirked after eating that bomb from AJ
Garcia is doing the right thing exposing the bodybuilder. If Aj can't handle constructive criticism then he truly is mentally weak and only proves Garcia right
It's 100% this. I said it after the first fight when Joby Clayton was shouting brilliant. They know AJ better than the public and they know what makes their fighter tick. People talk about McCracken as though he is a clown and not one of the most successful British coaches of recent times. When AJ loses his fans need a scapegoat but the reality is he is sensitive and needs a lot of encouragement.
AJ fans can't tolerate someone calling a spade a spade. AJ is not the dangerous murderous specimen he has been hyped to be. He lacks the balls to take a few to land his best punches
Is that not a part of Gacia's job to strengthen AJ's mind? A trainer not only teaches his trainee how to fight and how to beat his opponent but he will have to encourage him to have a fighting spirit and strong mind. If your boy does not seem to follow your instructions then just give up and find someoneelse to train.
