    This x100.

There's a reason Floyd chose this fight. It'll be a doddle...

    Typical Floyd opponent.

The self proclaimed greatest ever never takes risks.... his best wins are over a stylistic dream in Marquez, who should never have fought at welter, a Ricky Hatton showing signs of wear and tear, a gun-shy Mosley and inactive Oscar.

    Amazing!!!

Floyd vs Cotto showed some signs of slowing down a little but the fight was at 154, but will be interesting to see if Floyd is dropping off a little, if his timing and speed is off a little Ghost has a chance.

Ghost needs to make this a ruff street fight and take Floyd to ropes and try bully him.. like vs Berto style..

Think Guerrero will make it interesting even if he appears to be outmatched in every department. There's something about him, a fearlessness and deceptive cerebral nature to his agricultural style. A certain pragmatism that serves him well and I think he'll give a better account for himself than many think. His stock will rise I'm sure -win or lose.

  6. Makes me laugh,Guerrero has been cherry picked
Any one who follows boxing knows Robert has vigorously chased this fight since being much lighter, probaly a few years so how is that cherry picked.i think Robert has pushed himself into position
He seems to have massive mental strength,he has come up through the weights and been expected to fail several times.general perception was at welter he would have to box but against berto he attacked him violently, didn't give him a chance.
So he has a chance of course but he has to repeat the previous fight and that will be very very hard against an exceptional fighter in floyd
I fancy similar points tallies to cotto fight,in a tight but deserved decision for mayweathet

If Guerrero charges in like some of you are saying he has got to do, he will get demolished on the inside. This aint Berto, and whilst Guerrero kept charging forward head first in the majority of that fight, he showed little inside game, and got tagged enough times for me to know that he wasnt fighting his natural fight and a fight like that, Mayweather will be licking his lips.

Guerrero could just about take a blind Berto's punches. He won't be taking them from Mayweather. He will be put down if he does.

Guerrero needs to box naturally, not come charging in to make the fight look exciting like Cotto, if he wants to win, he needs to do what is needed and nothing more and win rounds and talk about them afterwards. NOBODY will look exciting against Mayweather, the moment you start gambling, is the moment Mayweather controls the fight. You play into his hands because of his style, it cannot work the other way around. He doesnt play into your hands, therefore you have to be smart.

Marquez had the tools, but completely flopped on the night.

Guerrero needs to bring them and execute them if he has any hope.

Toe to toe, he will get blown out. Mayweather will work of him, not with him.

The early rounds against Berto is what he needs to do and keep it up over 12. Mosley stunned Mayweather with the one punch that CAN connect even with Mayweather's stance. Guerrero needs to look for those punches from range, outside to inside lunges, using movement and fakes to throw Mayweather of before throwing the lunging straight.

But I personally think Guerrero will come in bravado, the event will get to him, and he will want toe to toe, Mayweather will plod on the back foot neutralizing everything Guerrero does, and then blast him inside when he feels like ending the fight.

Guerrero needs to be smart, he CAN be smart, but I just think the plan will go out the window and he will want to knock Mayweather's block of like the other 43, and be made to pay for it.

No way did I think Robert would move up to LW and lay a savage beating on Katisidis.
He showed a great jab as he kept him at bay and pounded Kats that night. He then moves up another 2 weight classes and then amazingly completely abandons his jab to become an inside brawler!

The guy is anything but predictable and I think Floyd will oblige him and fight him where ever Guererro chooses.

Berto is as mediocre as can be and Guerrero's gameplan wasn't much of a surprise when simply throwing lots allowed Ortiz to beat him. If a guy is a harder puncher than you, crowd them. if he's faster, lie on his chest so he can't get the space to build momentum.

There's no way he could manage that against Floyd, just none. If he puts Floyd on the ropes, Floyd is comfortable there. If he boxes with Floyd he's going to get shut out. If he tries to make Floyd come forwards and counter him, when has anyone managed that?

Guerrero's only chance is to land something big on Floyd early and try and keep the momentum. But he's not a puncher so that isn't going to happen.

    In a word; NO.

    Mayweather points.

To say he'll stop Guerrero, I can't see. He's not stopped anybody (properly) since Ricky Hatton - Ortiz definitely doesn't count. I say he may stop every opponent late but he never does.

I thought points at first but Mayweather looks in brilliant shape and i think he will want to make a statement, i can see Guerrero taking hard counters all night until they start buckling him then the ref stops it

I think the fight wil be entertaining. Guerrero will have success and it will test Floyd. Whether he wins i haven't really thought about the fight in to much detail but he's a better challenger then Ortiz. Guerrero's mentally strong enough, mature enough and skilled to hang in there and make it a good fight IMO.

The fight of the night for me is Gabe Rosado vs J'Leon Love.

I think Robert is going to be a dirty animal and we are going to see the elbow, the head, foot stomps and a beard in the eye thrown in there too.:hey
Floyd has a temper and he's going to be getting madder and madder if he can't finish Guerrero with his best punches. I really think his only chance is to hope he can take the barrage and that PBF gasses badly. Not much of a game plan I admit:yep

Guerrero's a strange fighter to watch, he looks awkward but he's very, very good.

My prediction - Mayweather will win like always but he'll look old in there. Decent fight but nothing to get full boned over. Mayweather UD.

Good to see you behaving for a change Craney
