Honestly if he tried to brawl and step into his range early on in the fight, he would have been sparked out in my opinion. He did wait too long before remembering where his distance of choice was but Thurman proved the goods and beat him up good.

Guerrero needed to take aim at Thurman's shaky mandible.

He was waiting for Thurman to stop throwing such precise power. Thurman was just able to sustain it for a very long time.

Good for Thurman, he is fun to watch.

Through the first 4 or 5 rounds there was always that one right hand flush and hard that Thurman would shake Guerrero with.
That kind of power is what kept Guerrero from being busier.

Props to Robert for not tanking and going into survival mode.
He knew he was way behind and stepped on the pedal late.
Thurman it turned out was just the better fighter.

Scorecards were way off base though.
The woman judge Byrd scored it a shutout. Thats outright dishonest/inept scoring.

I scored it 116-111 for Thurman.

He's the stereotypical floyd opponent, will look good on paper in years to come but in reality he was out of his league and the division he should be fighting in ala marquez

Really? It made perfect sense to me. It is PBFs MO. A guy has one or two solid wins with various flaws and PBF will pick him hailing him as the most dangerous in the division.

Guerrero was one of Floyd's 'great past opponents'. He was dominated by Thurman.

I'm not sure about Thurman to be honest. I mean, he does look good and has a bit of power but i'm not sure he is that fast. This was a good performance nonetheless. I would like to see Thurman face Khan, Broner, Porter, Canelo now... Let's see if he can take it to next level.

There weren't four rounds to give to Guerrero.

What surprised me most in this fight was RG's poor defense. He got hit a lot, flush shots. The only chance RG had in this fight was to catch KT. Didn't happen on this night but I agree with earlier posts that KT is vulnerable. A better, more powerful fighter, might catch KT late when he is tired. That would not surprise me at all. RG had a great chin but he has been through the mill and is no longer top tier competition. He is now a gatekeeper. KT walked through.

Wasn't suprised as I was expecting him to look to get thru first four rounds when KT was to be most dangerous. Wouldve liked to see RG working the jab though during this. I think KTs speed, power and delivery all surprised him. He didn't quit though which saved the night.

I gave 8 out of the first nine to Thurman.
Guerrero imo swept the last 3 rounds by simply outhustling Thurman.
The last couple of rounds Thurman seemed gassed to me.
So though I gave Guerrero 4 rounds, it really was'nt that close.

Certainly Guerrero won at least a couple or rounds, yet Byrd did'nt give him any.
It did'nt matter in this fight, but I certainly think that the boxing commision should look into a card like Byrds and scrutinize her for her scoring.
