I've always liked Guerrero, but his career never really took off like I thought it would. He's won belts in 3 different divisions, has racked up some good victories and was considered dangerous enough that Marquez avoided him. In July he will be moving from LW up to WW to fight Aydin for the WBC interim title. Assuming he wins, how succesful can he be at WW? Can he beat the likes of Ortiz, Berto, and Alexander? Can he eventually be get a fight with either Pacquiao or Mayweather?

I like the Ghost...but something has got to give eventually..he just keeps climbing the divvys without really fighting anyone of note.

I don't know how he will got at welter..that jump can be hard enough for career 140 pounders..let alone former featherweights.

Guerrero is a pretty big guy, he has the frame to handle it. However, it's a mystery if he can maintain the proper speed and power. His chin will be a question mark as well.

I don't think he has the frame of a the top 147 guys. I think he would be perfect at 140 because of his skill and he would still be a good size, but the guys at 147 walk around at 160+, I think physically he will not be able to compete with the elite.

I like him because he's a fun fighter to watch, he's fairly skilled, and he's a fighter, but he doesn't appear to be built for 147 and I believe he has a Glass Jaw, as well. Oh well.

I think he jumped up way too quick. He also should have gotten a guy like Ariza, Conte or Hernandez when making a jump like that. Most guys who jump up like that by themselves do not fare well.

He looked very very strong in his training camp for the Maidana fight. I believe that 140 is the best weight for him right now. 147 will be too much for him against elite opposition

I agree with the consensus, he should have remained at 140. I would have loved a Khan v. Guerrero fight, or even a Guerrero vs. Judah fight.

****, I'd take a Guerrero vs Garcia bout. 147 is too much ATM
