Is he considered a "Mexican" warrior? He's supposedly gonna "bring it" but does he have support of Mexico and the Mexicans throughout the US?
I really don't care about Guerrero, nor does the media down here. But if a miracle does happen, media will only speak of his mexicannes a la Mark Sanchez being "Mexican"
He may be decent but I even think if he pulled off the unthinkable, I'm not sure he'd even become "the man." We see Tim Bradley's "win" did nothing for his popularity.
I don't think he's that well known in Mexico. Never remember him being mentioned in any of the Mexican channels. Only watched him fight in the American. But trust me, any Mexican or fighter of Mexican descent fighting a BIG NAME like Floyd or Manny they'll get almost instant support. The Mexican networks will advertise them constantly 24/7.
A textbook Mexican American. Dude can't speak Spanish for ****, and from what I've seen, isn't too culturally linked either. He is playing his Mexican card because he doesn't have much of a fan base. Being that it will be during a Mexican holiday, and the fact that he is of Mexican descent, he will have support on fight night. He isn't **** in Mexico though.
He gets support in the bay area where I am from. The local papers have already hinted at a potential fight with mayweather. if he does fight floyd, i think it will be a huge deal in the bay.
atsch How ****ing pathetic, this Mexican American NEEDS a interrupter because this mahfuka DON'T SPEAK SPANISH. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1PSVdHcdPc atschatschatsch:rofl This content is protected
Well, it is the most significant thing in his life. And something that everyone on Earth can relate to to some degree.
Who cares if he speaks Spanish or not? He is from my home town and everybody is supporting him whether they are Mexican or not. On top of that he is a good guy.
