Martinez not only agreed to go down to 154 to fight Mayweather, he said he would go all the way down to 150!!! Void will not fight him though and he never will. Void has 6 fights against anyone he wants, probably a few winos from an alley, Christy Martin? Would not surprise me. Void is void.

No shame in begging. If that's what it takes to get a few million bucks, getting trashed by keyboard warriors should be the least of Guerrero's concerns. While RG put in some good effort I'd say lady luck helped him along the way. 147 is a very depleted division. If Berto, Ortiz, Pac, Bradley, Brook, Alexander, and Khan were all elite players in the same division AND there was no promotional feud - there is no way in hell Guerrero could get a shot at Floyd or at least highly unlikely.

Wasn't it Team Pac that said they would fight Sergio if he came down to 150? He initially rejected it but eventually agreed and called out Pacquiao for a fight at 150. Team Pac never responded and suddenly don't remember making such claim even though there's video evidence of Pac stating he'd fight ANYONE at 150 or below. I don't even think of it as ducking by either Floyd or Pac. Beating a super drained 37 yr old means nothing. It wouldn't serve any real value to either Pac or Floyd's resume.

Guerrero deserves this more than anyone else on the Golden Boy roster. I'd like to see a Money vs Desert Storm fight, but we all know that would be extremely tedious and strenuous with the two big promoters involved.

never thought of this, Sergio shoulda gone down to 154 and get wins against anybody to work his way to the top of 154
hes still got time he should move down and stop Angulo then try and get anyone like Lara, Molina, Martirosyan
he could eventually get lucky and get a Trout or Cotto fight

Precisely - I can't blame Floyd or Pacquiao. Floyd will never fight him, Floyd doesn't take risks but in the case of Sergio, why should he? If Sergio came to 154 and settled in there it's a different story as it creates a different kind of pressure. As for the Pacquiao fight, Pacquiao said 150 but as you say - fighting a guy who brings in no money who drains to 10lb is lose-lose situation

It's a non-starter - there's a couple of big fights at 160 Sergio is ducking so maybe he should clean up there first
