I saw last night. I would like to see him improve his defense, as I thought he took more punches than he had to, but he's got heavy hands, and fights with an attitude. I thought dude looked really good and physically he's going to be a lot for Marquez or Katsidis if he gets that winner. As far as impressive (not necessarily the "best") I was most impressed with him, and I believe he can make some noise in this division going forward. When you factor in his story, it's tough not to be a fan of the guy. I've seen him several times before, but last night I felt he was as good as I've seen him, credit to his opponent as well, dude had pretty quick hands and showed a lot of heart, he took some serious shots.
Yeah, the last 3 rounds I was in and out but it sounded as if he let up some based on the commentary, but dude is a serious threat IMO.
I know they're both Australlian dude but come on.... J/K dude! Ya, Roberto looked solid last night...I would like to see how he would do against Brandon Rios :good That uppercut he landed on the 6th was beautiful.
He's one of those cats that are deceptively athletic, he doesn't look as if he should have fast hands, but he does and they come heavy. Again, I'd like to see him use some of that athletism for defense as it will end up catching up with him in the long run, but he's a really good offensive fighter, hopefully he can develop a little better defense.
very good fighter id say he beats Acosta, Soto or Vazquez if he gets fights with them. id give him a good chance against Katsidis and maybe Marquez aswell
Apparently he broke his left hand.. which makes sense on what he let up a bit in the last 3 rounds. He was very impressive last night against a seriously good opponent.
havent seen too much of rios tbh.Ill check out more of his fights soon before i can say how Guerrero would do against him
Looked like a solid lightweight last night. A fight with someone like Demarco would determine if hes ready for the elites in the division.
