Garcia is undefeated. He is clearly very talented.

He may be an overachiever but he had a good run a JWW and has been milking it to the last drop for two years now.

Another close win for Garcia. Matthysse, Herrera, Peterson, and Guerrero. Take away the Khan win and what do you really have? A bunch of decision wins. A KO win over a badly faded Morales who had lost to Garcia by decision in their first fight. Judah went the distance, Holt lost to Garcia by split-decision. Campbell was past his best. Malignaggi is past his best and was never all that great to begin with.

I actually like Garcia and I figured last nights fight would be close. A few more fights like this and most of his fights will be decision wins. Where's that left hook and right hand power? If you're not going to knock people out you need to win more convincingly. Hey, a win is a win though and he's won a few World title belts along the way. 32-0 (18byKO) overall and 8-0 (2) in world title fights at JWW and WW.

First half of the fight Garcia was getting outboxed, OUTBOXED, by a slower, lighter hitting Guerrero. 2nd half Garcia was able to figure him out with the right hands, which is essential versus a southpaw. Garcia is a good fighter, but he can't handle boxers. Guerrero stopped setting him up with the jab to the body, if Guerrero continued to box smart instead of just walking straight in it would of been a cherry pick tragedy for Garcia. The scorecards were ridiculous too wide a margin. If you want to give Garcia a point or 2 it's understandable, he's the star, but a UD makes it look he needed the judges to win. Fight could of gone either way, even Floyd picking Guerrero tells you how close the fight was. I think Garcia is going to struggle or lose with a Sammy Vasquez or Josesito Lopez before he faces an elite like Thurman or Brook.

I don't believe Garcia is a big puncher. He's a good puncher who has good timing.

The fight wasn't close. Guerrero was sloppy and Garcia was the cleaner heavier puncher.

    9-3 Garcia
