Since Guerrero now has won the interim wbo and wba belts, Marquez will most likely have to fight him sometime in the future. Im not sure how likely this fight is to get made or when, but if it does it should be an exciting fight. Who do you think wins and why? Ive got Marquez by late tko btw:thumbsup
After some early trouble, Marquez adjusts and takes over in the middle rounds, and TKO's The Ghost somewhere around the 9th or 10th JMM by TKO
At this point, I have no idea. You can't count on anything with a guy who will be 38 by the time it'd likely happen. I favor Marquez but it's one of the best challenges out there right now, it seems. Rios, Soto, Guerrero, any of those three VS Marquez are going to make terrific fights, I think. It's really a fine division. Not great, but very fine.
I was thoroughly impressed by Guerrero. As much as I love JMM I think Guerrero takes it. GREAT FIGHT. HAS TO HAPPEN!
you never know when all the wear and tear will catch up on Marquez, maybe it already has to some extent. I wouldnt be surprised at all if guerrero won. Thats what makes this a very good matchup though. Its a real 50/50 fight at this point:good
Very interesting fight. Part of me thinks JMM can find a way to figure him out and take control, but part of me thinks Guerrero might be a little too much for an aging/faded Marquez.
