So after their fight in 2006 (which ended in Salido giving too much for Guerrero to handle) the post-fight drug test was positive for nandrolone for Orlando and the result was changed to a no-contest. Salido not only denied and protested the result, but made another - indipendent - test the very next day at LabCorp and the test was NEGATIVE. Something's fishy around here (why did the title became VACANT if the IBF was absolutely sure (despite the LabCorp test) that Salido had violated the rules?), but let's not get into that situation. What is more important: Oralndo SALIDO is once again the official challenger for Robert GUERRERO, a great young talent getting better and better, knocking one contender out after another. In the meantime, Salido does the same, and whether you believe it or not, he's only 2 years older than Robert and also getting better and better. In November he stopped Hector Avila and a few days ago he TKO'd Renan Acosta in 4 - Acosta was stopped for the first time. So... is Salido the best fighter with 9 losses in his record today or was it Guerrero who had a bad night back in 2006 and Salido had a great one? Was he so good because or the substances he took or did he take anything at all? Or was it his style that caused the problems for Guerrero? Who would (and eventually will) win the rematch if it's going to take place sometimes in the fall?

To answer your question Bone, I think Salido caught Guerrero on a really bad night and made the most of it like any good fighter should. Guerrero was awful that night and he (being Salido) took advantage. Does it happen again? Doubt it. Guerrero has seemingly taken that loss to heart and has improved tremendously. I think he stops this one relatively early.
