Good fight. Could be a good weekend for Pacquiao sparring partners.

He's a sucker to the right hand more so because of the way he leans in with his shots. Same reason he has so many head butts.

He didn't fight a smart fight IMO, if he would have moved and boxed, it would have been much easier for him.

97-93 Porter. Rough, sloppy, but quite entertaining fight.

Deandre Jordan showed us the glass jaw and poor defense of Porter. Porter hasn't gotten better at all, he might have regressed. Dude doesn't know how to box at all.

Had it 7-3 Porter, this is my first time watching him.

He's got to fix how easy he is to hit with the right hand, but he impressed me with his heart, durability, and grit tonight. Getting cut didn't faze him, and that's not necessarily that common in a young fighter. I'd gladly watch him fight again.

    Round 10

Gomez is pushing forward, blocking shots on his forearms but Porter is able to elevate his angle of attack and catch him about the face. Gomez doesn't stop coming but isn't able to capitalize on Porter's cut and do any damage. Gomez down toward the end of the round, push/slip.

    10-9 Porter

    98-92 Porter

I am happy to see Porter win but I am disappointed in his performance. His defense was not world class. I really hope it's just ring rust but I doubt it. And nice...a 10 round "championship" fight.
