Robert Gurrerro rejects a fight with Malignaggi

Guerrero's a fool. If he wants big fights at 140 and above, he needs to earn them. Malignaggi has a recognizable name and would be an interesting undercard fight on a massive PPV event. Why the **** wouldn't you take the fight?

With all due respect to Paulie, he's a joke of an opponent in the Ghost's world at this point. Not a blip on the radar.

 

Malignaggi's mouth it too big. It's time he starts fighting instead of talking!

 

I hope the ghost - Maidana/Alexander can be made for may 5th then.

This is good as long as Guerrero actually fights on in the first six months of the year against someone of equal or better quality. If he ends up being bumped off the card cause he won't face Paulie and he doesn't get anything scheduled, it's a horrible move.

To back up what he has said over the past four+ months, he needs to reject Paulie and get something a lot bigger. Zaveck would be better if that were doable... I like the idea of he vs. Maidana/Alexander winner.

 

Unless there's some specific circumstances I'm not getting, he just turned down a perfect opportunity. A name fighter with a fan base who is good enough but totally beatable for top-notchers, which Guerrero is, and has as little danger of winning by a fluke punch as any name fighter with a fan base and he would get to do it on a HUGE card...Robert...why, man? Why? This would be a gift!

 

maybe he hates Jersey Shore. But then again...that would be a reason to go in there and kick Paulies ass.....
