Does anybody know what Helenius is getting for stepping in to fight AJ on such short notice? And how does it compare to what Whyte was supposed to get?
I'd bet he's getting excellent money to lie down and supercharge AJ's promotional value for a Wilder fight.
1.5 million is what is being thrown around for purse. Which isn't bad for about 10 minutes worth of work.
It's a long walk from the dressing rooms to the ring at the O2 arena, but I'm pretty sure it takes a lot less than 7 minutes.
It will take Joshua few rounds. He should do it in 1 but this mentally frail version will need a few rnds to build confidence
They tried to give him pillow gloves today but got found out. I bet they’ll give him one of those knockoff Luis Vuitton purses you get on the street for a few bucks in NYC too.
I hope for his sake he says "**** it" and comes out breathing fire and brimstone. It's about his only chance and his best one. He should say to himself that it's a three round fight where he throws the kitchen sink at AJ and if the 4th comes round and he hasn't won he'll take a nap at the first jab.
Yep, if he's content with AJ controlling the distance he's going to get beat up. He'll need to get inside and not the way he rushed Wilder getting cold cocked.
No disrespect, but Helenius is shot to bits. He has a huge right had but thats it. He was past it and not really a danger, when he was a potential Klitschko opponent and even Wlad has been retired for 6 years.
