Robert Helenius is a bum, not even top-30 heavyweight

Don't quote boxrec at me you idiot. Everyone knows he won a blatant robbery. You want to gloat about that fine, but don't expect anyone to be impressed by Helenius's 'unbeaten record'. It doesn't mean shit.

I'm probably in the minority but I thought his fight with Chisora was very close. I know freddie roach felt otherwise but I thought it was competitive. Helenius boxed on the outside and Chisora charged in throwing very wide shots. I think I scored it a draw. But I will re-watch it.
Helenius needs a big fight now.
I think he beats Wilder but not sure if he can best other top 5 guys not with his recent performances.

I don't agree. As a big man, he is just entering his physical prime at 31. He should take two years to see if that rigt arm/hand can be rehabilitated. Build up to a big fight with the intention of winning.

I could see him jumping right in there with the winner of Glazkov-Martin, though.

I don't want to write him off as I get the feeling he's a guy who could raise his game if he was in with a name opponent, he certainly can hit when he wants to and has a strong chin. Can see a Joshua fight as a possibility in 2016. Would be a big underdog.

Helenius should look to reschedule his fight with Teper. Clearly needs a little more time before jumping back in with the top dogs.

Teper knocks this version of Helenius out.

I'm not impressed with Teper at all. Helenius has enough fundamentals to outbox him and win a lackluster UD even with glass hands.

Teper is more skilled than Helenius, just like Duhaupas. If Teper doesn't KO Helenius, he will win a decision. Rill and Musafarov were able to land at will against Helenius. If he meets a legit contender with power, he is in big trouble.

Which fighter in the world would try to take the center of the ring away from Helenius? Which fighter would like to stand in the middle and trade with him? Yes some slicksters like Malik Scott could out box him to an UD becasue of movement, but i can't see anybody trade with this guy really...

Get on Twitter and ask Wilder to fight him, bet you get a blank.

You certainly nailed it here, though never argued the point either. I think people may also give Duhaupas a bit less credit than he deserves as well. Will be interesting to see what is next from him

Indeed, I believe he is now the IBF International Champion or something. I think he will face the winner of Pulev-Chisora for an IBF title eliminator.

Edit: Apparently it was for the WBC Silver Heavyweight championship of the world. So Povetkin vs Duhaupas could be made :D
