Robert Helenius Looking Good For Saturday

    I only watched the first two minutes, but really.... I just dont see it with Robert. Ill be the first to say Im wrong, and obviously, theres more to him then meets the eye because not many people out there will be stopping peter in the manner he did, but not only do I think he would lose BADLY to both Klits, I dont even see him ruling when they are gone. Not saying he wont pick up a trinket here or there, but ruling? I dont see it.

    Even in this sparring, I see nothing. In fact, I honestly think his sparring partner looked better. (In fact, his sparring partner looks like he could have potential) Just imo, and not hating, or not trying to at least, but my genuine opinion. Ill be looking forward to his fight tomorrow though.

    Power in either fist, to the head or body.

    I don't think he beats Klit either- not sure he ever will. But after they are gone, if he gets in shape an improves his jab, he will taek care of most of these guys.

    Chambers-Helenius would be a good test for him, but Eddie will either be back into mandatory position (this is most likely) or coming off a loss soon...

    I don´t get why people keep mentioning Chambers? He´s absolutely nowhere following his loss to Wlad, just a single fight against a bum since March of freaking 2010!!! Hello? Can you say rusty? That and his loss against the over rated Povetkin alone should make people think twice about propping Eddie up until he starts proving himself again. Don´t know whether a win over the equally inactive Thompson will do that. It would need to be very decisive.

    TT has been pretty active, just nothing too spectacular. chambers has been inactive and obviously is out of his league vs a klit, but i think saying that he would be a good test for helenius is fair. even a rusty chambers is unfortunately one of the better hws outside of the klitchkos.

    Its a damn shame that Chambers is so inactive. Great fighter when he wants to be.

    Sure. But he can also be pretty inconsistent imo.

    He looked awful against Povetkin--he basically quit, and never looked that bad before or since. He got outclassed by Wlad, but who doesn't? I think if Eddie can still come in in-shape he decisions Povetkin any other night and proves he's a top 10 heavy, if not top 5. I'll wait till he gets annihilated or puts in another half-hearted 12 round quit-job before I give up on him. A decisive win over Wlad's toughest competition since Peter-I in the form of Thompson will solidify his ranking.
