Helenius was definitely losing to a 260lb Peter. No doubt. He's not very good, at all.

Helenius was ****in tired against a fat Peter, if he hadn`t ko`d him he would have lost. You can`t fight Wlad and hope for a lucky punch, Haye tried it and failed

Having watched the fight a second time first time was on TV. Peter took two rounds one very clearly. IMO

The Finn's got to learn to be more active in the last 10 seconds, like the vastly more experienced Peter....how ever that was not enough for Peter to really steal the rounds.

A 15 fight Wlad vs a 15 fight Helenius would have been even just about, except Wlad's jab.
He definatly has got to work on his jab more....his trainer will get him one....Ullie Wagner believes big time in the old one two....even if Captain Hook is too stupid to learn one.

Yes he's got to get his belly in better shape....I think though if he does too much weights he will tighten up and lose the fluid power he has.

Many younger fans have never looked at the lack of ripped muscles in old fighters like Rocky or even Bo Bo Olson.
Big biceps just get in the way....lats and back muscles is what a boxer needs. Big over large chest muscles combined with big biceps cause the jab to be a chicken wing, and telegraph.
If you can keep your elbow close to the side of the body, the jab can be moving before it is seen. If you got too big biceps and chest muscles, the elbow is seen moving from the start on.

Both those hooks were not 'setting down' on them. Natural fluid power.

I've seen other fights were he shows very good short fluid power.

It was a very good learning experience for the 'young' man.
I don't know his armature career. But Peter was still a top ten contender.

He's not ready for Wlad, the problem is, he's three fights away from a championship fight...and needs five or six, but there is only the three standing in front of him.

If he don't get metally broken by Wlad, in I don't think Vitilie will be there, the Finn has the chance to become the next generation of fighter and perhaps Champion.

Wlad's foot work and feel for distance will dominate....that and he is always in shape to fight 12 or more rounds make a big difference.
Yes the Finn has a good chance of a well placed power punch.

What impresses me is he does not have to sit down on his punches to have power, so they arrive fast and fast with the body behind it naturally, is the major key to power.

Helenius has a weird looking stomach/ab area....I can't figure out if he recently had a baby, or what....looks weird though.

He definitely has one of the most unimpressive physiques in boxing. But it shows that being buff doesn't mean you have great power.

Never in a million years. Helenius is big, strong, hard punching,
smart, and throws his puches with guile, but he lacks that main
    ingredient....................SPEED.

Wlad will be able to control this fight with just his 1-2, and helenius
will be in a state he's never been in. Out of his usual comfort zone
as the ring general. He's too lazy to even go the distance with Wlad
much less win. I doubt he'd land a clean punch during the fight, and
would be broken down and stopped in 8-9 rounds.

Wlad will retire without another loss

    I repeat...................

WLAD WILL RETIRE WITHOUT ANOTHER LOSS.

Get over it, move on with your life.

Helenius is a great contender, but is nowhere near ready for Wlad.

What he should be thinking about is getting in line for when Wlad retires in the next five years.

    Yes. Exactly.

He's got the perfect size/style for the Manny Steward school of Tall Fighting.

Plus, he might get some ring time with Wlad or Vitali, which couldn't hurt...well, I'm sure it would hurt physically, but would be great experience.
