I agree. I think his best career arc probably would've been taking the fight a couple years back and improving enough from that to work his way into a rematch, maybe making that more interesting. Instead, Wlad-Povetkin looks like it might be a career-ending cash out for AP at this rate.

Povetkin seems to have traded workrate for precision. Landed some very accurate shots in the end.

 

valuev is also a different fighter compared to Povetkin. holyfield used that kind of movement because Valuev was so big.

 

They say the camera adds ten pounds, Dan seems to pack more than 10.

 

That would be a good fight - but I also wouldn't mind seeing both Povetkin and Helenius challenging the klitchsko brothers without destroying each other first.

 

You do realize he fought Cedric Boswell right? A 42 year old never was that was KO'd by Jameel McCline 10 years ago?

He's far from the full package and probably gets bet by half of the top ten and thats not even counting the Klitschko's.
