Robert Helenius vs Erkan Teper on September 29th

Gerber was decent a few years ago. Gave del boy a hard fight. Mostly went away afterward until now. If he's the same fighter he was back then, I actually think Gerber beats post steroid Teper. It's at least more intriguing to me than totally shot helenius.

 

Teper KOs both Helenius and Gerber. Teper is pretty good and underrated actually.

 

Does the Intercontinental "title" serve any purpose whatever ?

Not sure why some are so confident of an easy Teper stoppage win. Sure he'll probably win... Only just. But it will probably end up looking closer to the Whyte fight with Helenius in sparring mode but still causing some issues. The power has been largely absent for both guys in recent years but at least Helenius managed to hurt Whyte. I'm expecting a Teper UD in a horrible gas fest of a fight.

 

As a Finn.. agreed 100%. Helenius has nothing left.

 

It was bad enough failing to end Whyte for everyone. If Helenius loses to Roid Kebab, he should be stripped of his citizenship and sent to Turkey as a slave. This might give him incentive to train properly.

I may be in the minority here, but I think it's a good matchup and more of these types of competitive matchups should be made in the HW division. Don't know who will win this fights as both have seen better days, hopefully Helenius but whoever wins puts them in a good position for bigger fights.
