Escaner is driving Greer into a corner and pumping in the 1-2 repeatedly. Escaner mixes it up, slinging a quick powerful left hook up top and then drilling through with a guard-busting right cross as soon as Greer has waved a wrist in a backhanded motion to partially intercept the hook. Escaner scoring with lead right hands past the busy fast Greer jab. Escaner is pursuing, making Greer duck and melt off the ropes with either zero punches thrown or just window-dressing flurries. Greer tries a shoeshine, bluffing his way inside, just a pretense for a clinch attempt but Escaner chases him out with a left hook coming up off his toes with a short hop and then keeps hooking at him until the bell.

Little Giant winning me over, I'm officially a fan after that single three minute period.

 

Escaner has above-average power, I'd say, but yeah hardly bone-crushing. Still, however, Greer must be careful or he could get flattened here...and if he moves around too much, those body shots will quickly take a toll...

 

Round 3

Escaner following as Greer skips laterally, always going left, snapping turns at the ropes, popping jabs. Greer content to just cruise & pot-shot, very negative. A few shoeshines on the waistband from Greer. Escaner unable to cut the ring off, getting frustrated, lunging in with big chopping rights. Greer skipping away from him, dancing around the ring on his toes. Escaner finally catches him with a teardrop right hand at the bell! Ref gives a count.
