Baysangurov is getting soaked in leather as Brant keeps up the high volume. The challenger is awed by the hand speed as well, unable to get a counter-punch off edgewise. Baysangurov has a bloodied nose already from quick jabs & rights. Baysangurov is dropped from a flurry, ducking as Brant cue-balls his own glove into his face with a double-jab and then drives a hard right cross into his temple as he's twisting away. He's up, not badly hurt but looking very skittish. Brant is darting in and out at different altitudes, scratching his stomach with a left upper-hook and tossing a right down the pipe as he steps outside and begins to circle. Baysangurov looking to get his rhythm down and time Brant with a 1-2, coming pretty close but no cigar. Baysangurov reaches in and touches Brant on the body, and Brant responds in kind.

Huh? Brant threw a perfectly legal 1-1-2, not his fault Baysangurov turned and exposed the side of his own head/neck while he was punching.

 

Round 3

Baysangurov is starting to creep forward now with a bit more confidence, reaching over Brant's guard with the jab, but finding him slippery. Brant ducking, falling off to either side while throwing a high whistling shot with the corresponding hand. Brant is blocking the jab on his forearms while jumping around Baysangurov, and surges in with a 1-1-2. Nice counter right hand from Baysangurov, flush on the face. They circle in close and exchange jabs. Nice 1-2 from Baysangurov.
