Oh wow, I bet a decent sum on Nelson decision, that could hit. Followed the other guy.

    Clarification:

Brant vs. Baysangurov is the main event, airing on regular televised ESPN from 9pm EST with two chief supporting bouts: Joshua Greer Jr. vs. Giovanni Escaner for the WBC bantamweight Continental Americas title, and Mayer vs. Larios for the female North American super featherweight title. I believe the former technically is the actual co-main event but I put the latter in the RBR title instead because I consider it a far more important fight, and the belt on the line in that one (female or no) to be a more prestigious one...and IDGAF whether anyone in particular agrees with me.

The chick on commentary says that in her estimation Nelson has landed "67 percent of his power shots..."

Bitch, from which of your holes did you pull that very specific number?!

    "If I had to estimate..."

If you had to estimate, honey, you'd fail, because you apparently don't know the meaning of the word. :D

Muwendo and Herrera looking to reignite that uh, storied Uganda vs. Colombia boxing rivalry and provide its greatest installment since...uh, Kassim Ouma vs. J.C. Candelo in 2004 (I guess... Had to really reach for that one. Why am I such a repository of useless trivia? :shakehead:)

10-9 Muwendo, controlling with the jab. Herrera fighting scared, backing all the way into the ropes and then leaping in with ambush right hands draped over Muwendo's backside.

10-9 Muwendo, closer round, opens & finishes strong with the 1-2 & uppercut but in the minute between had allowed Herrera's unconventional herky-jerky movement to bother him, at times Muwendo bullied into the ropes and hit with some punches from odd angles (left upper-hooks into the bottom of the chin and rights looped around the guard tapping him on his left temple) but Muwendo starts to pile on the straight combos down the stretch to seal it.

    20-18 Muwendo

Gotta say, this is a disservice to Ouma vs. Candelo's memory so far.

    10-9 Muwendo, extremely close

Herrera stepping laterally with Muwendo, trading jabs & right hands with him. Pretty much tit for tat, Muwendo landing slightly more yet getting touched plenty in return. Cagey, not much infighting, about zero body work from either man, and scantly anything but straights aimed for the nose (a majority of them in both directions pinched between the palms)

    30-27 Muwendo

10-9 Muwendo, this continues to be an utter bore almost devoid of drama, both combatants mirroring each other, cagey, warily jabbing and 1-2ing from mid-range as they circle each other in slow motion, until the final half-minute when Muwendo lands a couple of right crosses in near enough succession that Herrera appears somewhat buzzed from cumulative effect - but no time (nor inclination) for Muwendo to polish him off.

    40-36 Muwendo
